Price Change Announcement
Laboratory Pricing
Thank you to all of our loyal Illinois Crop Improvement Customers. Your trust and support is greatly appreciated. Revised price lists are now available at the links provided in this email.
It has been two years since our last general price increase. Testing seed is a hands-on business, and lower participation rates in the workforce and slow recovery in available labor post-2020 have increased operational costs along with the cost of materials, energy, equipment, and technology. Our business office has been evaluating all our tests and test types. Instead of our traditional across-the-board increase, we will adjust prices on specific tests and crop categories as needed.
The increase will go into effect today, August 1, 2024. We greatly appreciate your business and support as we continue to provide a measure of viability, purity, composition, and characterization to the seed and grain industries where and when it counts the most for your business. Illinois Crop Improvement’s vision is to provide unbiased third-party services that can be used to confidently and transparently produce improved seeds and grains. Illinois Crop Improvement’s mission is to deliver superior laboratory and inspection services as an unbiased quality and certification authority for seeds and grains by collaborating with industry stakeholders, technology providers, researchers, and other interested parties.
The Illinois Crop Improvement Laboratories, Seed Lab, Greenhouse, and Identity Preserved Grain Lab, thank you for your business.
